Lingshan County makes self-service of getting tourist visa to Hong Kong and Macao a reality

The Exit & Entry Administration Division of Lingshan Public Security Bureau has introduced the first self-service all-in-one machine (card type) for signing and registering an electronic exit-entry permit for travelling to Hong Kong and Macao, making the self-service of Lingshan people’s visa renewal to Hong Kong and Macao a reality.

The introduction of all-in-one machine (card type) was another move of Lingshan Public Security Bureau for the people’s convenience and benefit. In the first half of this year, the Bureau decided to bring in advanced machine and make self-service a reality for the people’s visa renewal as they travel to Hong Kong and Macao. After debugging and commissioning, the machine was already put into use.

Police Officer Deng of Lingshan Public Security Bureau Entry & Exit Control Division said, in the past, it took five days to renew a tourist visa to Hong Kong and Macao, which included cumbersome procedures and people’s several runs back and forth. In the future, it seems like withdrawing money from an ATM, all self-service and just take-and-go. The operation is also very easy: insert the electronic exit-entry permit for travelling to and from Hong Kong and Macao, input relevant information, and go through three steps of handling, paying and making, which only takes 1 minute to have a renewed one.
